Lexus has released the first tease of a new F-branded model – and it looks like the car in question is a hot version of last month’s new RC Coupe. The new RC-F will be officially revealed at the Detroit Motor Show next month, with the firm promising “performance synonymous with Lexus’s heritage of F-designated performance models”. Over the regular RC Coupe, which we checked out in detail at the Tokyo Motor Show last month, the RC-F appears to get bespoke front wings with unique side gills: the multi-spoke alloys are also new.
Suzuki has revealed a teaser image of its new S-Cross concept car which the automaker will be debuting at next week's Paris motor show. The S-Cross, which indicates an impending C-segment crossover model, is designed to represent a theme of "Emotion x Quality x Aerodynamics" through the use of distinctive dynamic lines that flow from the front fender across the doors and end at the rear of the body. Suzuki have left us with very little else to go on, and so we'll have to wait until next week's show to find out more.
The Nissan Leaf electric car has won Japan's Car of the Year award. It's the first time in the award's history that the honor has gone to an electric car. The Leaf was praised for its high-performance electric motor, quietness, ride comfort and handling stability.
